Beauty in Honoring God

1 Samuel 16:7 describes how man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. How often do we judge people, purely based on the outward appearance?

Don’t ever believe the lie that you’re aren’t pretty enough, or not thin enough. What people think doesn’t matter. What truly matters is what God thinks about you. He lovingly took the time to form your very being. In fact, you are his treasured masterpiece, and you are beautiful.

Our purpose here on earth is not to blend in with the world, but to set ourselves apart. Be a shining light in a dark world. True beauty is living a life that honors and glorifies our Lord and Savior. We are called to worship the King.

Proverbs 31:30 (ESV)
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
